Margherita Pizza

Ingredients

1  ready-to-use pizza dough

1/2 lb Fresh Mozzarella

1 1/2 lb Crushed tomatoes

2  Garlic cloves

5  Basil leaves

2 tbsp Parmesan

2 tbsp Olive oil

 Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Directions

  1. Prepare dough per package directions.
  2. Pre-heat oven to 500° F (30 minutes for baking sheet pan or 60 minutes for baking stone).
  3. Stretch dough into a paper thin crust to fit into the baking sheet or on a screen so you can slide it onto the baking stone.
  4. Add tomatoes, garlic, Fresh Mozzarella cheese, salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown
  6. Sprinkle hot pizza with the Parmesan cheese and finish with basil.
